Turning It On

Enable the waitlist on your event. When a tier (or the event) sells out, the Join Waitlist button replaces checkout. Waitlists work per ticket tier — someone can queue for VIP specifically.

How Spots Are Offered

The system is first-come, first-served, fully automatic:

1. 1.A spot frees up — a refund you issue, or an expired claim
2. 2.The next person in line gets an email automatically
3. 3.They have 30 minutes to complete their purchase
4. 4.If they don't buy in time, their claim expires and the offer cascades to the next person — no action needed from you

There's no manual review step — you don't pick who gets offers, and you don't release tickets by hand. The queue order is join order, period.

What Attendees Are Told

One email per offer: tickets are available and they have 30 minutes. Set expectations accordingly — it's a fast-moving line, which works in your favor for demand.

Pricing

Waitlist buyers pay the same tier price as everyone else — there's no separate waitlist pricing.
