Start Hosting on Rally

Hosting is free — Rally's service fee is paid by the ticket buyer, on top of your ticket price. You keep 100% of the price you set.

1. Create Your Organization

1. 1.Head to Create Organization
2. 2.Pick your host name and @handle, add your logo and bio
3. 3.This becomes your public host page — your events, followers, and brand live here

2. Connect Payouts (for paid events)

Paid ticketing requires a Stripe account connection:

1. 1.From your org dashboard, start payout setup
2. 2.Stripe walks you through identity and bank details — Rally never sees or stores them
3. 3.Once connected, you can publish paid events

Free/RSVP events don't need this step — you can publish those immediately.

3. Create Your First Event

• •Flyer, date, time, location, description
• •Ticket tiers: GA, VIP, Early Bird (can auto-expire), tables, or free RSVP
• •Refund policy: standard, no refunds, or custom terms — shown to buyers before purchase
• •Optional: allow ticket transfers, enable the waitlist, add discount codes

4. Run the Door

Check-in is built into the Rally app — your door staff scan attendee QR codes with their phones. Each code admits exactly one person, once. You can also check people in manually from the attendee list, sell remaining tickets at the door, and add team members with specific roles (door staff, security, event manager…).

5. Get Paid

Your ticket revenue accumulates with each sale and becomes available for cash-out 72 hours (3 days) after your event ends. See "Payouts & Getting Paid" for the full picture.
