Rally operates automated SMS/MMS messaging programs and may send text messages to users who have provided their mobile phone number and given the appropriate consent. We send three categories of messages:
One-time passcodes (OTPs) and account verification codes used to confirm your identity when you sign up, log in, or perform a sensitive account action.
How consent is given: You provide consent when you enter your mobile phone number on the sign-up or login screen and tap “Send Code.” The consent notice is displayed at that point.
Transactional messages related to your Rally account, including:
How consent is given: By creating an account or accepting a co-organizer / team invitation, you agree to receive transactional account notifications at the phone number on your profile.
Recurring automated promotional and marketing text messages from Rally and event organizers you follow or whose events you attend, including:
How consent is given: By checking the explicit opt-in checkbox at ticket checkout or RSVP. Consent is not a condition of purchasing a ticket or RSVPing for an event. The checkbox is unchecked by default.
Message frequency varies based on your account activity, the number of events you attend, and the organizers you follow or opt into.
Message and data rates may apply.
Standard message and data rates charged by your mobile carrier may apply to messages you receive from Rally. Rally does not charge for text messages beyond any applicable carrier fees. Contact your wireless carrier for details about your plan.
You may opt out of any Rally SMS program at any time by replying to any message with one of the following keywords:
After texting a stop keyword, you will receive a one-time confirmation message confirming that you have been unsubscribed. You will not receive any further messages from that program.
